Tonight we're going to try making kasha again. It's my friend's Dad's recipe and it involves making a cream sauce so it should be exciting. It mostly worked last time except we lacked flour and substituted nutmeg for cinamon.

Nutmeg is sour and cinnamon is sweet so not a good swap, Mace is a better substitute for nutmeg than cinnamon really.

Well yes but we had no mace either. Cinamon was the closest facimile to nutmeg in kali's flat (it was the first weekend of term in all fairness, it was lucky either of us had any cooking supplies).
